I learned about two inventions and two inventors this week: the mariner’s astrolabe, double entry bookkeeping, Luca Paciolo, and Leonardo de Vinci.
The first invention is the mariner’s astrolabe. The mariner’s astrolabe is an item that helps determine latitude by using the stars, which I think is really cool because I love outer space. It impacted history because it helped people discover new lands.
The other invention is double entry bookkeeping. Double entry bookkeeping enters each transaction twice. It had an impact on history because it led to better shop keeping which helped businessmen increase capital.
The first inventor is Luca Paciolo. Luca Paciolo wrote about double entry bookkeeping.
He impacted history because he wrote about mathematics and geometry which helped to educate more people.
The last inventor is Leonardo de Vinci. Leonardo de Vinci is a famous inventor and painter. He impacted history because he helped people learn more about body parts.
So to recap, these two inventions and inventors all had impacts on history which have shaped the world we live in today.
Great job, Rebecca!😃
