Week 33 Inventions and Inventor

I will write about the Steamboat, the Argand Lamp, and the Power Loom which are the inventions.  I will also write about the inventor Robert Fulton.

The Steamboat is a boat that is powered by steam.  The steam powered a paddle wheel and because of the paddle wheel the boats could travel faster.

The Argand Lamp is a lamp that is powered by oil.  The lamps burned brighter than candles so more areas could have light.  Because more areas could have light, people could stay up later than before.

The Power Loom is a loom that runs by itself.  Because it ran by itself, people could use it without years of experience.  So more cloth was produced and the prices fell.

Robert Fulton helped make Steamboats popular.  Without them, it would have been really hard to transport things from here to there.

I wrote about the Steamboat, the Argand Lamp, and the Power Loom.  I also wrote about Robert Fulton, an inventor.
