I learned about three inventions this week: the Mercury Barometer, the Vacuum Pump, and the Pendulum Clock.
The first invention I learned about is the Mercury Barometer. The Mercury Barometer is an instrument that measures atmospheric pressure. It impacted history because it helped invent electricity.
The next invention I learned about is the Vacuum Pump. The Vacuum Pump is an instrument that creates a vacuum. It impacted history because without the vacuum pump people would not have vacuums.
The last invention is the Pendulum Clock. The Pendulum Clock is a clock that uses a pendulum to work. It impacted history because it was a really accurate clock so people could be more on time.
To wrap it up, I learned about the Mercury Barometer, the Vacuum Pump, and the Pendulum Clock which all helped life become easier and better.
Thank goodness for inventions like these!
