I learned about three inventions and one inventor this week. The three inventions are: the piano, the thermometer, and the seismometer. The inventor is Gottfried Leibniz.
The first invention is the piano. The piano is a stringed musical instrument that uses keys to press a hammer which makes it play. It impacted history because a lot of famous musicians became famous playing the piano.
The next invention is the thermometer. The thermometer is an instrument that is used to measure temperatures. It impacted history because it can help one see if they are running a fever or not.
The last invention is the seismometer. The seismometer is an instrument that measures earthquakes. It impacted history because it helped people see how big an earthquake is going to be.
The inventor is Gottfried Leibniz. Gottfried Leibniz made a wheel that was used for mechanical calculators. He impacted history because without his invention people could have not had mechanical calculators.
So to wrap it up, the piano, the thermometer, and the seismometer are items which had impacts on history. Gottfried Leibniz had an impact on history as well because he helped make mechanical calculators possible.

The piano is pretty cool, my mom and dad have me and my siblings practice piano. And I have seen some pretty nice music played by the piano. Do you play the piano? and what do you think about the piano?
